The Vectis Lodge of Peace and Concord was named and established in 1796. In 1796 the lodge met at the Wheatsheaf Inn, St. Thomas's Square, Newport, Isle of Wight. In 1804 the lodge moved to Freemasons' Hall, Town Hall, High Street, Newport and the meetings remained there until the lodge was erased in 1838 due to the lack of members.
