Letter of recommendation from William Jones, Worshipful Master, Hana R Wincey, Senior Warden, John Bazir, Junior Warden and William Wincey, Secretary of Mariners' Lodge, No. 222 [SN 1021], Guernsey to Robert Leslie, Grand Secretary supporting the formation of a new Lodge due to an increased membership. Recommend David King to serve as Worshipful Master elect, Richard Trout as Senior Warden elect and John Sullock as Junior Warden elect of Loyalty Lodge, No. 349 [SN 1556], Guernsey. Endorsed with draft note by Robert Leslie informed the Lodge that he is sending a warrant and black membership certificates and seeks payment of six pounds and one shilling. Attachment dated 14 August 1810 includes a petition to form Loyalty Lodge, No. 349 [SN 1556], Guernsey to meet on the last Friday of each month, written by Robert Leslie and signed by David King, Richard Trout, John Sullock, Peter Robilliard, John Hammond, John Moore, John Caire and John Ferguson. Endorsed with note by Thomas Harper, Deputy Grand Master, confirming the number of the new Lodge as No. 349.

Loyalty Lodge was granted a warrant by the Antients' Grand Lodge to meet as No. 349 on 18 August 1810. The Lodge met in a private room at an unknown location in Guernsey, Channel Islands and also operated under a Moderns' Grand Lodge warrant as Lodge of Loyalty, No. 623 [SN 1549]. After the union between the Antients' Grand Lodge and the Moderns' Grand Lodge to form the United Grand Lodge of England in 1813, the Lodge was renumbered to meet as No. 448. The Lodge returned the Moderns' Grand Lodge warrant in 1829. By 1828 the Lodge met at Cole's Hotel, Market Street, Guernsey. The Lodge was renumbered to meet as No. 299 in 1832 and was granted its present number No. 243 in 1863. The Lodge continued to meet at various locations in St Peter's Port, Guernsey and now meets at The Masonic Centre, Rue de la Vallee, St Martin's, Guernsey.
