Description (What the record is about)
-
Bragg to [W.] Anderson, 12 Feb, 1937: explanation of the action of the Voltaic Cell was one of the most ambitious things be tried to deal with in Electricity. Discusses the transfer of electrons from the copper conductor to another, and the transfer of electrons when the two copper plates are placed in a solution of copper sulphate. Asks if Anderson is thinking of the cell with copper and zinc plates.
