This scribal transcript includes speeches given to Parliament on separate occasions. The first copy is a complete transcription of the King's speech to both houses of Parliament in the form of a booklet. It is not dated. It begins - "I called you hither today:" Then follows: "The lord Keeper's speech", and lastly: "The King's second speech". Mention of the Duke of Buckingham suggests it may be from Charles I's second parliament.
Included with this manuscript are two loose folios of a contemporary copy of a separate speech to the House of Commons possibly from the first parliament of Charles I, by the Lord Chancellor.
