This collection of unmounted prints and postcards was sent by "Hettie" to her friend a Miss Lewis, a school teacher who married another school teacher, William Henry Turner of Manchester.
Hettie was the wife of the photographer who took local views as part of his business. He is probably the Mr Howarth referred to on the back of some of the photographs.
The photographs came into the donor's possession via Lewis Richard Turner her first cousin, once removed. Now a retired school teacher of 38 Kensington Road. Kings Lynn, Lewis is the second of the two sons of William Henry and the former Miss Lewis.
