The accounts are roughly entered, but have been audited for 1721/2, 1722/3, 1724/5, 1725/6, 1727/8, 1728/9 and 1729/30. At fo. 4r is a note: 'This Book was Bought The 10th day of Sept. 1718 Cost 2/6 by Allen: Grebell Chamberlain to the Corporation of Rye.' Less than half the volume has been used.
