2. Thomas Lomas of Bollington, co.Chester, Tanner.

Signed and sealed; Thos.Lomas, witnessed James Unwin, Jno.Allen. Memorandum endorsed signed by John Downes & Thos.Lomas, same witnesses. Receipt for £200 endorsed, signed John Downes, same witnesses.

Bargain & Sale for £485 of timber, being 478 oaks, 362 Ashes, Sycamores and Poplars, total 840 trees growing in John Downes lands as per schedule annexed which details 342 oaks, 290 ash and sycamore, in Shrigley & Bollington, and 136 oaks, 72 ash and poplar, in Worth.
