Description

Appointment and release of tithes

1. George Francis Collins Browne of Woodley Cottage, Cornwall

2. William Collins of Simonward, St. Breward. Gent.

3. Edmund John Glynn of Glynn, Cardinham, esq.

4. John Darke of Launceston, gent. (trustee of the term of 1000 years)

5. Thurston Collins of Bodmin, gent.

Consideration: £335 paid by 3. to 2.

10s paid by 3. to 1.

1. Directs, limits and appoints all manner of tithes and tenths of corn and grain and all other rectorial tithes yearly or otherwise arising, coming, growing, accruing or happening in, upon, out or in respect of the messuages, lands, tenements and hereditaments hereinafter mentioned and which same tithes are hereinafter released and confirmed with their respective rights, members and appurtenances shall immediately be and remain to the use of 3.

Also for the considerations aforesaid:

2. By the direction of 1. hath bargained, sold, released and confirmed unto 3. all manner of tithes and tenths of corn and grain and all other rectorial tithes yearly arising, renewing or growing out of, upon or from all that messuage or tenement and farm called Penbugle, now in the occupation of John Jewell as tenant, and also all that messuage and farm called Penquite, now in the occupation of James Liddell as tenant, and also all that tenement called Black Down, now in the tenure of John Edyvean as lessee, all which said premises are situated in Bodmin. Also all that part of the newly enclosed piece of ground called Barren Down otherwise Killabarret which is situated in Bodmin and now in the occupation of John Bawden as tenant thereof with appurtenances and the reversions, remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof and all the estate, right, title, interest, inheritance, reversion, use, trust, possession, property, claim and demand whatsoever both at law and in equity of 2. and 1. of, into or out of the same premises or any part thereof

Also: assignment for remainder of a term of 1000 years

Consideration: as aforesaid & 10s paid by 5. to 4.

4. by the direction of 1. and on the nomination and appointment of 3., hath bargained, sold, assigned, transferred and set over all the tithes belonging to the rectory of Bodmin to 5.
