Legacies to (1) Elizabeth wife of testator a cottage in Stowe Nine Churches, Northants for life, as long as she remains unmarried and for the children of herself and James Booth to inherit until they marry, then on the death of Elizabeth Booth to be sold and the proceeds divided between James, Elizabeth, Sarah, Anna, Maria and Robert when each child attains the age of 25. (2) to Elizabeth,wife of the testator all household goods, as long as she remains unmarried and after her decease to the children of the testator. (3) To the children of the testator when the youngest attains the age of 25, to be held in trust until that time applying the rents and profits the business; several fields in Floore, Northants. (4) To the trustees to pay James the son of the testator £500 each; the interest for the maintenance of the wife and the children of the testator under the age of 25; the farming stock, stock in trade, ready money, sureties for money etc. (5) To be divided between James the son of the testator and Elizabeth, Mary, Sarah, Anna, Maria and Rebecca daughters of the testator, the real estate as sum of £1,000, the interest being paid to the wife of the testator for her life. (6) If the wife of the testator dies before the children of the testator attains the age of 25, the trustees may pay £400 of the interest to the widow and divide £400 between the children; if any of the daughters of the testator marry before the age of 25 she will receive a legacy of £500, if any of the children die before the age of 25, the legacy may be divided amongst the others or paid to their children. (7) The trustees are to continue the business until James the eldest son of the testator attains the age of 25. Trustees, George Cornfield of Northampton, maltster, William Bromwich of Everdon, Northants, maltster and Richard Booth of Coventry, builder.
