Description

The vast majority of the collection comprises photographs, archives and printed ephemera and research notes collected by Elizabeth Munns who bequeathed them to the Society on her death on 4th December 1984.

The exception is the text of the talk on the history of Biggleswade by George Saunders, written in 1891, which was deposited directly by the Society (ref: X 758/3/4). Various Biggleswade school log books were, with the agreement of the Society, returned to official custody and are catalogued at (ref: SD Biggleswade 5/1-2; 6 and 7).
