- correspondence with A.W.Sanders regarding his criticisms of Air Raid Precautions organisation in Bedfordshire;

- death of Air Raid Precautions Controller for East Bedfordshire Area - Tom Ferguson;

- communications from Ministry of Home Security regarding: Personal Injuries (Civilians) Scheme 1940; equipment for communal domestic shelters; distinguishing marks for various types of Civil Defence officers; ventilation during black-out;
