These records all appear to belong to the brewing business: as can be seen from the family correspondence listed in section 1 above, however, the Walker interests were widespread, and the searcher should bear in mind that before incorporation of the company in 1890, the private and business affairs of the family would have been closely intertwined. For example, in the private papers of the estate of Robert Walker, are to be found accounts books and statements (M380PWK/1/3/1 - 1/3/5).
