Westmorland, esq., -- in consideration of marriage of J.W. and Dorothie now his wife, eldest daughter of R.B. and for £1500 marriage portion, also of another marriage of Thomas W., gent., son and heir of F.W., and Brigitt, daughter of Thomas Clifton, late of Litham, esq. decd., and for £500 paid to J.W. by Anne Clifton of Salwicke, widow of T.C., and mother of B.C. for a jointure of £100 -- manor or capital house and demesne lands in the Counties of Yorke and Lancaster, i.e., manor house in co. York called Westbye, property in Gisburne, co. York, and rent from "that watter Corne Mylne called Rimington Mylne" co. York, and 2 mansion houses called Mowbrecke and Burne and lands belonging to then, property in Much Urswicke in Furnace, Kirkham, Poolton, and Michaells, also a wind mill called Mowbrecke Mylne, 2 mills called Treales Mylne in Kirkham parish and Holme Mylne in Michaells parish, and rent of 53/4 from Thomas Brockholes, esq. also the tithes of Wesham -- upon trust, to uses.
