Women's Action Day was held on 27 Nov 1980 at Central Hall, Westminster, organised jointly by the Women in Media and the Fawcett Society. The Josephine Butler Society manned a stall at the event. The Women's Action Group was established as a follow-up and its remit was to implement the Women's Agenda which was agreed on that day by 70 participating organisations
