Description

1. Thomas Edwards of Mucklewick gent

2. Samuell Corbett of Woodhall gent and Margaret Corbett spinster only daughter of Samuell

3. Peter Scarlett of Hockstoe gent and John Corbett of Longdon gent, Edward Edwards of Drever co Mont gent and Christopher Whittingham of Cherbury gent

Cons: a marriage agreed between Thomas Edwards and Margaret Corbett, and £200 marriage portion Release of a messuage in Mucklewick (formerly Jeremiah Howells decd. now Thomas Edwards) and messuage in Wentnor (Samuell Collins), to hold to use of Edwards until the marriage and after to use of Edwards and his assigns for his life, after to use of Scarlett and Corbett for life of Edwards to preserve etc. after his death to use of Margarett for life for her jointure, after the death of the survivor, to use of sons in succession and heirs of their bodies, in default to use of daughters and heirs of their bodies, or right heirs of Edwards.

If Margaret die within 1 year of the marriage without issue by Edwards living, or leaving issue which die within 1 year after the marriage, Edwards shall pay Samuel Corbett £150 within the next year and in default the 4 trustees shall stand seized of the property to his use until they shall have raised the £150 out of the rents. If Margaret should die after the 1st year but before the expiration of 3 years after the marriage without issue living or such issue die before the age of 3, then Edwards shall pay £100 within 1 year with same stipulation. Edwards covenants that he has a good title to the property which is unencumbered.
