Henry Warne of St Columb, John Clemoe of St Enoder, James Hearne of Padstow, John Wilcock of St Minver, Samuel King of Egloshayle, John Toker of St Tudy and Robert Avery of Tintagel: fined 40s. each for not attending grand inquest.
Indictment against Elizabeth, wife of Richard Uren of Gwennap, tinner, Margaret Skinner and Elizabeth Bray, both of Gwennap, single women, for stealing 5 deal boards, value 1s., from Mary Hearle, widow: quashed.

Proposed alterations to Bodmin jail and bridewell submitted by Mr James Chappell, keeper: stopping up 2 arcades, making a partition across the hall and adding 2 grates in the chimney there, in the women's section; stopping up 1 arcade, making a partition across the hall, making a window in each end of the passage leading to the cells, and whitewashing the cells, in the men's section: all to be carried out.
Turnkeys' salaries, being considered inadequate, increased by £5 p.a.
Daniel Tremeer, als Tremear, of Advent, labourer; convicted of stealing a duck and drake, value 6d., from William Hicks: 3 months' hard labour.
