Deeds and papers relating to Swerford Park Estate and other properties in the parishes of Swerford, Hook Norton and Bloxham

The bundles in which the documents were originally found were organised as follows:-

Bundle 4 -includes Marriage Settlement of John Travell of Swerford of 11 May 1725 relating to capital messuage called Lyons Place at Swerford and other property in Swerford. (labelled 1700-1730)

5 -includes Conveyance of 27 Sept. 1772 relating to 49 acres in Hook Norton and Southrop relating to the above marriage settlement of John Travell. (labelled 1730-1800)

6 -about 16 deeds including some relating to Rous's homestead in Swerford, land in Hook Norton, Pomfret and Shelshill or Buttercomb Farms in Swerford. (labelled 1800 or 1830).

7 -about 9 deeds including at least one relating to the property described in 6 (labelled 1830-1860)

8 -about 9 deeds including articles for the settlement of the marriage of Ferdinand William Whalley 12 June 1840 relating (inter alia) Rou's homestead in Swerford, and a Release of 6 Oct. 1841 relating to property at Swerford, Hook Norton and Bloxham. (labelled 1830-1860)

9 -about 17 deeds relating to (at least) Swerford including the Fox Inn, Swerford. (labelled 1860-1900)

10 -about 26 deeds and documents relating to Swerford 1679-1827.
