Letter to Mr. Attorney General

Recites lease 24 June 1720 by the Duke of Chandos to John Saunders and Mary his wife of a messuage and lands called Langua.

Fine: £235. Rent: £30. Term: Three lives perpetually renewable.

Sets out method of computing Fines for the addition of a New Life.

The President and Governors want Counsel's Opinion as many other leases on this estate are granted likewise. ALSO seeking an opinion on the payment of £2-2s on the marriage of the eldest son of the Duke.
