Compilation of post-war blues/rhythm & blues music compiled by Michael (‘Mick’) Vernon, described as ‘a few odds and ends, which might be of some interest’. The accompanying tracklist - dated 23 Sept 1963 - was typed on headed notepaper from the Rhythm and Blues Gazette, a publication which only seems to have existed for less than a year.
Although Oliver filed this with his Texas research tapes, few of the featured artists have Texan connections. Note that the transcribed tracklist below follows the digital audio file, which reverses the side order compared to Vernon’s typed list.
