Description:
(a) Purchase of lands at:-
- The parish of West Ham, (co. Essex), on both sides of the Great Eastern Railway line.
- The parishes of St. Peter and St. Mary Stoke in Ipswich, (co. Suffolk) on the north-eastern side of the Great Eastern Railway line.
- Hamlet of Trowse Millgate, in the city of Norwich, on both sides of the Great Eastern Railway line.
- The parish of St. Margaret, Lynn, (co. Norfolk), on the South side of Great Eastern Railway Station yard.
- The parish of Ely Trinity (co. Cambridgeshire), adjoining the Western side of the Great Eastern Railway line, bounded on the South by Rosell Hole Gait Pit and extending northwards to the level crossing adjacent to the point of junction of the Peterborough and Norwich lines of the Great Eastern Railway.
(b) The abandonment of the following schemes, in whole or in part:
- Great Eastern Railway (Junctions) Act, 1864
- A railway in March, parish of Doddington, (co. Cambridgeshire) to connect the Peterborough line with the March and Wisbech line.
- A railway in the parish of East Dereham, (co. Norfolk) to connect the Lynn and Dereham line with the Dereham branch.
- Great Eastern Railway (Additional Powers) Act, 1865
- The Stratford branch.
- The Ordnance Factory railway.
- The Winchmore Hill railway.
- Great Eastern Railway (High Beach Branch) Act, 1864:
- The railway authorised by the above Act, except that railway between the railway authorised by the Great Eastern Railway (Metropolitan Station and Railways) Act, 1864, and called Railway No. 8, and Wood Street.
- Great Eastern Railway (Alexandra Park Branch) Act, 1866:
- Whole scheme.
