(i) John Whitehouse of St. Peter Martin, late a schoolmaster, only surviving feoffee in trust for lands in the parish.
(ii) Rev. Phillip Hunt, D.C.L., rector; Joseph Thackeray, doctor of physic; John Foster esq.; John Parker, gent.; William Foster esq., son of John Foster; Charles Purser, gent; William Brown, auctioneer; Thomas Small, glazier; Charles Brown, common carrier; John Tucker Austin, carpenter; William Wilkins, lacebuyer; all parishioners, newly elected by the chief inhabitants.
Three newly erected messuages, with a gateway, and rooms over the gateway; in the occupation of William Gazeley, William Francis, James Sadler, William George; abutting N. on the common street, E. on a messuage formerly of Susan Negus, widow, late of Lewis Haupman, now of Nathaniel Wells Small, S. on land late of Lewis Haupman, now of John Gates, W. on a messuage of Mary Grant, formerly a public house called the White Hart, late of William Brown, since of Joseph Brown, and now of William George; which messuages were built upon the site of 9 old cottages taken down for that purpose.
A messuage with a yard of slip of ground, late in the occupation of Mary Palmer, widow, now of Jenny Johnson, widow, adjoining a messuage of John Parker N., one of the Duke of Bedford, formerly in the occupation of Limbey Grummett, late of Thomas Carver, and now of Thomas Small, S., abutting E. on St. Peter's green. This messuage was erected in lieu of an old messuage, formerly occupied by John Rose, afterwards by Richard Leach.
A strip of ground 42 feet by 20 feet, late of Mary Palmer, now of Jenny Johnson.
A stable, gateway or passage, formerly in the occupation of John Whitehouse, clerk, now of Clement Dumelow; abutting N. on Berry close, S. on the common street, E. on a messuage of the Society of Moravians, W. on a tenement formerly of John Whitehouse, now of Clement Dumelow.
A cottage and pightle, late of Edward Covington, now of Thomas Covington; abutting N. on Sparrow close, S. on a close of the Society of Moravians, E. on the turnpike road from Bedford to Kimbolton, formerly called Oak Lane, and W. on Berry close.
Witnesses: R.H. Gibbon, clerk to Messrs. Pearse & Son, Theed Pearse.
