Lease and Release

18, 19 March 1742/3

Release as follows

(1) Samuel Bullock of the city of Hereford, tobacconist, and Anne Lane of the same, widow and administratrix of Theophilus Lane late of the same, gent, decd.

(2) Ursula Aston of the city of Hereford, widow of William Aston late of the same, baker, decd.

(3) Mary Williams and Frances Williams of the city of Hereford, sprs.

Reciting (a) The property to be released is with other property mortgaged to Samuel Bullock for £320 by (2)

(b) The £320 was the money of Theophilus Lane, and Samuel's name was used as trustee

c) Theophilus Lane is dead, and administration of his goods has been granted to his widow, who is now entitled to the mortgage money.

(d) Mary and Frances have agreed with (2) for the absolute purchase of that part of the mortgaged premises, mentioned below for £184.

All that messuage where Wm. Aston did and the third parties now live, with garden belonging and adjoining in the parish of St. Owen, Hereford, in Castle St. with all outhouses, yards, easements etc.

A pew [pugh] lying in the west end of St. Peter's parish church, Hereford, under the gallery and marked No. 25.

To the use of (3) forever.

Consideration £184 from (3) to Anne at direction of (2) 5s. apiece from (3) to Samuel and Ursula.
