John Bury's Stock Book

Note that each partner shall have his stock entered in this book, signed Chas. Miller, 21 Jan. 1804. Each account is signed by all partners: i.e. James Bury, John Bury & Charles Miller. 31 Dec. 1804: a/cs. comprise balance, interest, total after deducting expenses, and share of profits. A/c for Chrisr Nockells [left the partnership 21 Jan. 1804] includes error in 1803 and balance. 1 Jan. 1805: a/cs. comprise balance with interest added, and profit for 1804. 1 Jan. 1806: total amount brought forward from 1805. 1 Jan. 1807: total amount brought forward from 1806 and proportion of shares. 25 Mar. 1808:- a/cs. comprise total amount brought forward from 1806, and profits for 1807. 2 notes are attached to Chas. Miller's a/c concerning error in 1801. 17 Aug. 1815: stock in the hands of T & R Lund, money in their hands and interest, signed Thos. & Rich. Lund. Information at end of book: Gross amount of stock, 31 Dec. 1803; Mr. Grafton's amount, 31 Dec. 1804, and note showing division of gross amount 31 Dec. 1807, which includes Grafton.
