The correspondence covers the activity of the Mothers' Union in the dioceses in question, concerning in particular: personnel; finances and resources; membership; missionary and development work; MU literature, including in the vernacular; the creation of branches and links with home branches; visits of overseas members to the UK and vice versa and gifts sent; attitudes to marriage and the family, local customs and climate.
