Vice-President, Sedgley Park School, 1808 - 1836; President, Sedgley Park School, 1836 - 1844. Born in Oxfordshire, 2nd August, 1778. Educated successively at Sedgley Park School, Wolverhampton, Oscott College, Birmingham, and St Edmund's College, Old Hall, Ware, Hertfordshire, at the last of which he was ordained Priest. His first mission was Mawley in Shropshire, next was Long Birch, near Wolverhampton, and then, in the August of 1808, he became Chaplain at Sedgley Park School. On the 12th of March, 1836, he became President of Sedgley Park. On the 20th June, 1844, he was made Doctor of Divinity and in December of the same year he was taken ill and died.
