Roll of Honour(de Ruvigny) Vol II, Sect 3, p135: only son of Fdk Park of Castle Lodge, Kendal, dental surgeon, by his wife Ella, d. of William Ketchen; born Bouth, Lancs, 21/4/1896, Educ Kendal & Manchester Grammar Schools and Edinburgh Univ. was a medical student; joined King's Lanc Regt Jan 1916; gazetted 2Lt MGC Oct 1916; promoted Lt April 1918;served BEF F&F from March 1917 and was KIA at Ramicourt 3/10/18. Buried at Sequhart. Lt Park was a fine boxer and lacrosse player. He was keenly intertested in the Boy Scout movement and as Patrol Leader at Kendal in 1910 was awarded the silver medal for life-saving. Unmarried.
