Original Portfolio or 'Book' No. 796. Catalogue of Old Engines p. 312.

For Lake Neufchatel. The agents were Haldimand & Sons of London. The boat may have originally been intended to have 10 horse engines, as it is listed with such engines in The List of Engines made at Soho. The boat was sold to the Constance Steam Boat Co. in 1831 and worked on the Rhine. The boat's draft drawing of this time (in The Steam Boat Box, 5/1477) suggests that the boat was re-named Helvetia.
