Description

(i) Thomas Lucas, esq., of Little Saxham to (ii) Thomas Jermyn of Rushbrooke.

Indenture

Conveyance [mortgage] of the manor of Charmans, etc. [as in 2/571.] excepting Charmans fen and arable lands in West Stow.

Conveyant for delivery of deeds before Michaelmas following.

(i) covenants that he or others now seised of the premises shall stand seised to the use of (ii) and his heirs, from Michaelmas following, and to convey the premises to (ii) before the following feast of the Ascension, and further covenants that the premises are free of all incumbrances, except dues to the chief lords.

(ii) covenants to pay to (i) £286. 13. 4. before 1st November following.

(i) is bound in five hundred marks for performance of covenants.
