The Lodge of Tranquillity No. 185 was established in 1787 and met at the Anacroen Coffee House, Great Russell Street, London. The lodge was named the lodge of Tranquillity in 1816. The lodge has met at many inns and taverns around London but it now meets at Freemasons' Hall, Great Queen Street, London.
