D Whitmore's internal memos technical correspondence from 1970 to 1985. D Whitmore Ref E/DTL/2/33/437. With reference to RT13-100 and 13-101 regarding the oil consumption curves V.3228 and V.3239 for the Viper Mk.632-41and 43 engines respectively, we make the following comments: 1 Test experience has shown that these curves are inaccurate and no longer used. 2 The oil consumption should be checked to the requirements of the appropriate schedule. Consumption limits under these conditions are 0.9 to 1.25 pints per hour. In view of the above will you please arrange an amendment to RT13-100 and 13-101 to delete these curves
