Leather-bound album measuring 247x168mm, with prints inserted in window mounts and typescript caption labels pasted next to each photograph, from the collection of Sir James Sifton. Sir James David Sifton (1878-1952), entered the Indian Civil Service in 1902. He served as Governor of Bihar and Orissa 1932-36 and Governor of Bihar 1936-37.
