Description

Deed to lead the uses of a fine (attested copy)

(1) William Heather of Rotherwick, Hants., yeoman, (grandson and heir of John Heather, heretofore of Mortymer, Berks., brother and heir of Barnard Heather and son and heir of John Heather, late of Rotherwick, all deceased) and Elizabeth, wife of said William Heather, (2) John Baynton of Burbage, yeoman, (3) John New of Westcott, in Burbage, yeoman, (4) William Gough of the city of Bristol, woollen-draper, (5) John Helliard of Burbage, yeoman, (6) Thomas New of Westcott, yeoman, father of (3), William Gough, the elder, father of (4) and James Helliard of Fifield in Pewsey, gent.

Three dwelling-houses and a number of closes and dispersed parcels of land (particularly described).

Consideration: £205 paid by (2), £230.10s. paid by (3), £10 by (4), £37.10s. by (5), and 5s. paid by (6), all to (1).

The copy of this deed was made 23 October 1806, and also copies is an endorsement on original deed, dated 22, 23 October 1806, being a memorandum of a release of part of within-mentioned premises by Thomas Pearce and John Clark
