Administrative / biographical background

The Lodge of Antiquity No 146 was established in 1776 and named in 1803. In 1776 the lodge met at the Fox Inn, Market Place, Leigh, Lancashire and remained there until 1786 when it moved to Bolton, Lancashire, meeting at the Crown Inn, Deansgate. The lodge now meets at the Masonic Hall, Institute Street, Bolton.
