Administrative / biographical background

It is possible that these maps, and DL/A/23, which bears similarities to them, were in fact prepared within the Planning Department of ESCC and passed to Lewes District Council in 1974 in the same manner as DL/A/7-9 and DL/A/12, 13 and 17.
