Description

WOLBOROUGH.

Indenture made 25 Nov. 8. Jas. I. (1610) between Francis Phelips and Richard More of London, Gent, on one part and John Bingley of City of Westminste Esq, and Richard Reynell of Ford, Co. Devon, Esq, on other part, witnessing that Francis and Richard More sell to Bingley and Reynell the Rectory and Church of Woulboroughe, late parcel of possessions of Monastery of Torr, as granted by Jas. I. by Letters Patent 8 Feb. 4. Jas. I. (1607) sold the same to Richard Roberts and George Tyte and as said Richard and George by an indenture enrolled 5 Nov. instant, and dated 6 June last, sold the same to Richard More and Francis Philips; saving to the King all advowsons, paying yearly to the King £11. 9s. Richard Reynell agrees to pay £6. 13. from the Rectory payable to a Chaplain celebrating divine service in the Church of Woulborough.
