The Manor called Coveling als Covehurst and all those coppices or pieces of wood ground and the soyle thereof called the Comb Wood and the coppice lying between the same and Perry Wood (sold sometime since to Raymond Blackmore by the said Phil. Henshaw) containing 90 acres Also the Furnace Wood containing 30 acres, with a way through a close of the said Philip called Gatefield the Wyland Wood, 60 acres; the Pook Wood, 20 acres; the barnfield Wood, 12 acres, the two Little Woods and Luckwood; all in Brightling Brightling and Salust (sic) and were formerly purchased (with other lands) of John Busbridge late of Hare Mare in Etchingham
