Particulars and conditions of sale of property and land in Renhold by auction by W & H Peacock on 26th June 1920 at the Swan Hotel Bedford viz:
(a) Four cottages near Newlands Farm, Renhold, in occupation of W A Godwin, Mrs E Constant and W Clark, and vacant.
(b) Two lots of land fronting main road containing 1r 30p and 20p (latter being a kitchen garden) .
(c) Thatched cottage, on The Green, with 15p of garden and water supply from tap on the Green, in occupation of James Pope.
(d) Plot of building land adjoining (c) containing 15 poles and including outhouses.
(e) Six cottages, The Green, Renhold in occupation of Mrs M Laughton, Mr J J Shorley, W Curtis, Mrs Harlow and two vacant.
(f) Three cottages, each with garden ground all with vacant possession.
(g) Four plots of pasture suitable for building land containing 2r 38p, 1a 28p, 2r 26, and 1a and in occupation of J Marsden, A J Thompkins.
(h) Two cottages suitable for conversion into one house with gardens, paddock and range of buildings in occupation of J W Wootton, and O Tompkins.
(i) Two thatched cottages suitable for conversion into one house with gardens and orchard in occupation of John Gurney and S Curtis.
(j) Four lots of building or allotment land containing 3a 2r 19; 2a 2r 21p; 2a 3r 39; and 3a.
(k) Two old oak timbered cottages with garden land at Salph End suitable for conversion into one, in occupation of Mr Cox and vacant.
(l) Three Ravensden Hill allotments, containing 5a, 5a, and 4a 1r 4p subject to right of way on north east side.
Conditions of sale derive title from a Consolidating Mortgage between the late Frederick Edward Fiennes Polehill Turner and the trustees of Economic Life Assurance Society dated 9th August 1883.
Includes (loose) coloured plan (hand-drawn, pencil and colour-wash) . Gives exact dimensions to nearest inch; and endorsed with memorandum of agreement for sale of (c) to Joseph Frederick Wiles of 41, Park Road East, Bedford by private treaty for -142.15.
