I. Property, as in Add Mss1128

II. Messuage, in occ. of said John Leggatt, on W. side of the North Street, Chichester, containing in length from N. to S. in front against the North Street 17 feet and in breadth from E. to W. 34 feet 7 ins., between a messuage of the Dean and Chapter of Chichester, in occ. of [blank] Peskett, on S., and another messuage held of the Dean and Chapter, now of James Davis, 'chymist', on N

Conveyance of the property in I, being freehold, and assignment of the property in II, being leasehold, for the remainder of the term of years, as in (v) below. The principal sum paid to said John Leggatt. The properties in I to be subject to the mortgage as in (ii) below

Recites: (i) Add Mss1128, Add Mss1129; (ii) Add Mss1130; (iii) that the total sum of £1,000 was advanced to enable said John Leggatt to complete the purchase as in (i); (iv) that said John Leggatt having occasion to borrow the further sum of £600 to enable him fully to complete the purchase, (b) has agreed to advance the same; (v) lease, 10 Oct.1795, for 30 years at annual rent of 20s.0d., from said Dean and Chapter to Joseph Leggatt of Chichester, butcher, since decd., father of said John Leggatt, of the property in II, being then in occ. of said Joseph Leggatt, and described as between a messuage ... late in occ. of John Francis, grocer, but then of James Wolfestan on S., and messuage ... then of [blank] White on N., (vi) that said Joseph Leggatt in his will (dated 27 June 1797) bequeathed the property in II to said John Leggatt for the term of years, which will was proved in the Peculiar Court of the Dean of Chicester
