Conferences anet the abjuration'. An account of proceedings in a conference of the Church of Scotland concerning the Abjuration Oath, which abjured the Jacobite succession to the throne. The proceedings recorded were held on two days, the second being 8 May, 1712. Two addresses to Queen Anne concerning the Abjuration Oath were agreed by the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland on 14 and 15 May 1712. See 'Acts of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland 1638-1842' (1843).
