The Lodge of Utility was established in 1760 and met at the Globe, Hatton Garden, London. The lodge was named the Lodge of Utility in 1774. In 1775 the lodge met at the White Hart Inn, Holborn and the meetings remained there until 1781 when the lodge was erased.
