Folios 305-306. 'Appointment of Schoolmistress' form, for Fanny Reynolds as schoolmistress at the workhouse of the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union. The form shows Reynolds formerly of Stalham, Norfolk had worked in a drapers there. The salary to be £25 per annum. The post became vacant after the resignation of Elizabeth Martha Skinner who had obtained a more lucrative office.
Annotated: ' This does not seem a promising appointment. Question, assent for six months and request the usual report from the Guardians before that time expires', 4 January 1880.
