1. Thomas Campbell Eyton of The Vineyard esq

2. Robery Aglionby Slaney of Walford Manor esq

3. Mary Slaney of Hatton Hall spinster (William Henry Slaney deleted)

Recital of settlement of 13 (sic) May 1835 T.C. Eyton is entitled to certain shares in the - Railway Co and R.A. Slaney and Mary Slaney have agreed to advance £2000 in these proportions, R.A. Slaney to advance £1400 any Mary Slaney £600. Consideration: £1400 paid to T.C. Eyton by R.A. Slaney. Draft covenant for payment of the £1400 and interest at 3½% on 6 May 1855, tax free, with covenant to continue to pay interest. Further consideration £600 paid by Mary Slaney Covenant for repayment with interest at 4% on 6 May 1855 tax free, with covenant to continue to pay interest. Eyton also covenants with both that all interest accruing during the life of T.C. Eyton on £4141. 16. 0 3% reduced bank annuities or from the sale of any part of this sum shall be security to R.A. Slaney and M. Slaney and be charged with payment. Eyton further covenants within 3 (one deleted)) calendar months from the date of these presents to effect a policy of assurance in the name of Mary Slaney in the sum of £600 payable in the event of T.C. Eyton dying in the lifetime of Thomas Eyton his father, in the Minerva Life Assurance Co or such other office which Mary Slaney shall select and shall during the continuance of this present security duly and punctually pay all premiums on this policy and deliver the receipts for these payments to Mary Slaney and shall not commit or suffer any act whereby the policy cannot be effected or may become void, and will at all times on request of Mary Slaney but at his own expense execute all other acts to enable Mary Slaney her executors, administrators and assigns to obtain payment of and receive the monies to be assured by this policy. Should Mary Slaney advance any money for payment of the premium or to keep the policy on foot, Eyton shall cause this to be repaid with interest at 4%. The money payable under the policy is charged with payment both of these advances and of the original £600 and interest, any overplus being payable to Eyton his executors etc. in case Eyton should die within one calendar month from the date of these presents, he shall deposit with Mary Slaney as security got, the £600 and interest and by way of equitable 'mortgage so many shares in the - Railway as shall be of the actual value of £600 and in such case it shall not be obligatory for Eyton to effect the insurance. Eyton covenants that in case certificates are deposited, he will pay the Railway Co all calls due in respect of the shares and indemnify Mary Slaney; and that he will effectually transfer the shares to her free from all incumbrances whatsoever, subject to redemption on payment of the £600. Eyton covenants with R.A. Slaney that he has power to charge the premises and will execute and pay for any further assurance in the law.
