Description

LETTERS PATENT: LEASE for 42 years by the King, by mainprise of William Cawode and William de Huxley, to Sir Thomas Stanley Kt. and John Savage son of Sir John Savage Kt. --- a messuage and cottage with appurts. in LE WODEHOUSES within his Lordship of FRODESHAM now in the tenure of Geoffrey Hondkynson and a certain parcel of his marsh of FRODESHAM cd. Bruggehous Mershe with appurts.; to hold from the feast of St. Michael last, paying annually at the Exchequer of Chester the ancient rents and services and a further 2/- increased rent, at the feasts of Easter and Michaelmas.
