5 Aug. Description of house called Newpark, residence of Thomas son of Henry Lord Berkeley and father of Lord George. Reference to its being haunted

18 Aug. Reference to a chapel being erected by Dr. Hadwen (Gloucester)

1 Sept. Visit to Windsor Castle - description of Castle, St. George's Chapel, Eton College

30 Sept. "Churchdown Minstrel Troupe" formed, committee etc. elected.

1 Oct. Reports changes that have been effected at All Saints' Church, Cheltenham, since his last visit many years previously

22 Oct. Visited Gloucester Cathedral with Rev. Cooke. Shown around. References to many features

29 Oct. Reference to Dr. Moore visiting Miss Smithe in Cheltenham (!) twice a day.

14 Nov. His wife has a slight stroke - weakness of right arm

30 Nov. Patronal Festival St. Andrew's Church - preacher, Dean of Bristol

19 Dec. Political address in the school by Mr. Michael Hicks-Beach, Unionist candidate for the Tewkesbury Division

7 Feb. Estimate for printing etc. received - £28.10.0. with stiff covers, £26 with paper ones. In view of this cost will re-write, condensing where possible
