These notes are the results of Miss Almack's very thorough researches into the history of her village, Blandford St. Mary, with some notes of a more general nature on Dorset subjects. The distillation of her knowledge of Blandford St. Mary can be found in her book "A Village Heritage", published by Longmans (Dorchester) Ltd., 1961. Most of Miss Almack's files of notes are lettered.
