- report by County Medical Officer of Health;

- communications from Senior Regional Officer regarding: staff engaged solely in Air Raid Precautions in Bedford Borough; erection of nine semi-surface shelters on St.Peter's Green and Bedford Modern School; reports of bombing; raid spotters; areas of vulnerability; Wardens' Posts at Baptist Schoolroom, Sandy, Riseley British Legion Room, Heath & Reach Village Barn and Harlington Manor; use of part of 13 Kimbolton Avenue, Bedford as County Air Raid Precautions Control Centre;

- communications from Ministry of Health regarding: temporary registration and employment of overseas medical practitioners; Government Evacuation Scheme; children billeted in reception areas leaving school to take up employment; rates of pay for whole time Civil Defence volunteers; public health in air raid shelters; mobile unit Headquarters at 81 High Street South, Dunstable;

- communications from Ministry of Home Security regarding: provision of bleach cream to public as an antidote against blister gas;

- preparations to deal with severe bombing in Bedford and Dunstable;
