Red half-leather and cloth bound album measuring 295x250mm, generally sound, although suffering the effects of damp damage in the past. Prints are mounted on the page in various configurations depending on size, the majority with brief pencilled captions. Many of the prints, often in poor condition with considerable fading and yellowing, are duplicated in other parts of the collection, and the contents of the album have not been individually listed. The subjects covered can be broadly broken down as follows:. Prints 1-10 Views at Gangtok. Prints 11-27 View of Lucknow, Agra, Delhi. Prints 28-36 Views of Bhutan. Prints 37-42 Views in England, including marriage to Irma Cozens-Hardy, 1920. Prints 43-46 Views at the Gangtok Residency. Prints 47-93 Tiger hunting in the Nepalese Terai. Prints 94-108 Views and portrait groups at Yatung and Gangtok. Prints 109-127 Miscellanneous views, leopard hunting scenes, etc., India (Dholpur, Multan, Agra, Assam). Prints 128-168 Views in Bhutan and Tibet. Prints 169-187 Views in Kashgar and Tashkent, 1919 (see introduction to Mss Eur F.157/824). Prints 198-212 Tiger hunting (?Nepal). Prints 213-251 Scottish views.
