A collection of deeds and papers found at the carpenter's shop at Worsborough Hall. Many of the deeds concern property of families related to the Edmunds by marriage, passing in particular by the Carrington (1730) and Offley (1767) alliances, which much increased the depleted family fortunes. The male line died out in 1831. In 1924, Mr. T. W. Hall published a catalogue of some of the earlier deeds and court rolls: 'Descriptive catalogue of the Edmunds Collection'. Including:
Manorial records:
Barnsley with Dodworth: Court roll, 1613.
Stainborough: Court rolls, 1613-1615; estreat rolls, 1613-1614.
Worsborough: Papers in a dispute c.1710-1726, and including earlier documents, concerning claims to the manor by Catherine Wescombe, sole heir of Francis Rockley, and her mortgagees (several bundles).
Parish papers, etc:
Worsborough: Names of owners chargeable to the militia, 1715.
Agbrigg, Osgoldcross, Staincross, Stafford Wapentakes: List of townships with assessments, n.d. (parchment roll).
