Since the behaviour, under running conditions of dummy blade weights retained by Allen type screws in a tapering root slot as present in the 2nd stage disc, in unknown, it is thought desirable to safeguard against axial movement of the weights, should the nip caused by the screw due to be lost due to rim expansion
