Folios 24-25. Letter from Charles Wright, Clerk to the Guardians of the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union, to the Local Government Board, replying to their letter of 12 January 1875 and informing them that the guardians have offered the 8 acres 1 rood 19 perches of land to the executors of Mr Pearce for the remaining portion of the current year to old Michaelmas next, when the present lease expires, at the rent of £13, making the total rent £80. The tenant has agreed to these terms and to farm the land in accordance with the lease.
